- Monster: Read pages 46-64; complete discussion questions
- Racism debate
- In-class debate centered on the question: Does racism still exist in America? We found evidence to support our claims and backed it up with explanations on our debate handout!
- SSR 1 (sustained silent reading--we all chose a book and read for 10 minutes silently at the end of class! Each time we do this we will also complete a short reading response. See me to get this handout!).
