Poetry Project

Below you will find links to approved websites with poems that you may choose for your poetry project. Browse through them, and BY THE END OF THE CLASS PERIOD, find, select, and print your poem to take with you from class.

  1. The Poetry Foundation -- Go to the "Poems and Poets" tab at the top of the page and click "Browse poems," "Browse poets," or "Seasonal poems."
  2. Poets.org -- Search at the top of the page by poets or poems. You can also go to the "Poets and Poetry" tab at the top of the page, click "Most Popular" on the drop down menu, and browse some of the website's most popular poems.

This will be your only opportunity in class to print your poem!!! If you lose it, you must find time to print it again yourself. It is your responsibility to keep up with this very important piece of paper!
