- For a warm-up, we did a practice passage from the North Carolina final exam.
- In-class work time to finish our ACES paragraph(s) outline

- Our ACES Packets and final drafts for our paragraph were due at the end of the hour!
- HW: Continue to memorize your poem (Due next Wednesday - Friday!); review literary terms for our Poetry "Quest" during next class!

- Thursday: We read "metaphor poems" (organized around a central metaphor that extends throughout the whole poem) and wrote our own version of a Metaphor Poem in class.
- Friday: We described images using material details & wrote more poems that we performed in class!
